- How should we answer and what are some topics we should avoid when asked "What do you think is your biggest weakness is/are?"
How should we answer and what are some topics we should avoid when asked "What do you think is your biggest weakness is/are?"
- The key is how you give your weaknesses: Start with your tendency and end with how you have worked to improve it.
- “I have a tendency to be a perfectionist with others on my team, but now I value different work styles of team members and trust we will reach the goal together.”
- One way to answer this question is to analyze the key skills and abilities required for the position you are interviewing for and then come up with an honest weakness which is not essential for success in that job.
- For example, if you are applying for a Training position, you WOULD not share that you are not good at group presentations. Also, you could turn a weakness into a strength by mentioning skills you have improved on.
