Can I list Earning a Data Science Certificate under professional experience to fill in the gap in my résumé?

You can put a short "job" in Professional Experiences that says "Full-time Education." Then the reader can go below under "Certificates" to see the same time to secure the certificate. Be sure to have proof of that certificate.
