Should new graduates follow the same résumé format as experienced professionals?

This answer depends on how much experience the new graduate has before attending school. 

1. If you are a college graduate with no experience or a few small jobs or internships, then Education can go above Professional Experiences. However, remember that you cannot change the order on LinkedIn.
2. If you have relevant experience for two-plus years, put Profissional Experiences first. 

The "robot" or "Applicant Tracking System" (ATS) in a company is an algorithm used to seeing Professional Experiences first, and it will grab your education data, too. And recruiters or hiring managers will glance at both. So, when in doubt, put Professional Experiences first. However, whichever you chose, the key is what you put under each experience.
