- In the summary it is fine, and sometimes it works. The big hesitation is using it always and all throughout the résumé.
- Do not use "I" before your power verbs in the experiences bullet points.
- In the interview, that is when you should be proud and boasting using "I"
- The reason we shouldn’t use I, Me, My too often because your résumé isn't about you.
- It is about how you can add value to your potential employer.
- Focus on their needs and not yourself.
- Think about what makes you cost effective as an employee on your résumé - what makes you "worth the money" they would pay you.
