Is the employer going to look at our previous salary for what they gauge our new salary on?

• Do not fudge numbers when asked about your previous salary.
• If asked, you should be honest and provide the salary that would be on your W-2
• When discussing your desired income, simply state: 
  • “ I would like to be paid market competitively”
• Do not factor in any tuition assistance into your salary
