I'm involved with a lot of political groups, which may be controversial. Should I leave that volunteer work off of my résumé and LinkedIn?

While you are in job-seeking mode, I recommend you remove everything that may be controversial, including religious, political, or anything that a reader may have an opposing position. I recommend removing all from your social media, too, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
